Rasika

The value is good, and so is the food, but don’t keep your expectations high when it comes to the entree. We liked the atmosphere and quality of service. Definitely a place worthy of notice, but their food lacks the wow-factor we are looking for (with the exception of their dessert).

The Witch American Bistro

This restaurant has a great atmosphere but the quality of the food does not do it any justice. This is extremely disappointing, and the chef does not seem to have an aptitude for finding the correct temperature of food. We came in with high expectations and got poor results.

S&H Kebab House

The decor could use improvement, and so could their soup, but then again you don’t order soup in a middle eastern restaurant. Your first impression is not great. The quality of the entree was less than satisfactory, but their service is impeccable. We feel that our rating gives them a little more breathing room for improvement.

Modo Mio

Overall, this place has wow factor, but lacks another important factor… consistency. The food is delicious, but you have to make sure you know the food there or you could end up ordering an above average dish instead of something with the “wow” factor. That’s why we can’t give this place 4 forks. We’d love to give it 3 1/2 forks, but such a rating does not exist.

Adventures in Cooking Risotto

For those of you who don’t know what risotto is, it would be a good idea to go to look up some restaurants that have it on their menu. Sahara Restaurant

Our advice is come here with empty stomachs and full wallets. Their servings are quite large, and the cost of the food is more than it used to be, which disappointed us. However, this will always be one of our favorite restaurants when we come to Brooklyn.

L’Autre Pied

You cannot stay at London and not eat at this place. Even with a tight budget, we don’t think you will ever experience anything in London as unique and delicious as this place.

South Street Souvlaki

The food was delicious and genuine. We definitely enjoyed eating there. The setting was nice but not outstanding. We will definitely go here again sometime, but it’s food did not have that “wow” factor in it.

Zorba’s Taverna

The quality of the food is great, but some of the decor and the prices is what leaves it in mediocrity. Overall, it’s a great lunch place, but be ready to spend a lot when you come here for dinner.

Tre Scalini Ristorante

The setting, decor, food, and service was excellent. It is a genuine and original Italian restaurant that reminds us of Little Italy. The only thing it lacked was the wow factor that was enough to give it 4 stars.
